I danced with Yul Brynner
Lizzie starts to explain her early years, the time back in the late 1970s and early 1980s when her mum Betty fought hard against the Government to earn the right for people to be able to get a Myo Electric Arm on the NHS.
It wasn't without a lot of work and Betty even got barred from the house of commons for her outspoken ways. The prejudices against people of difference in those days was rife. One certain MP even recommended that she use a hook as an electric arm wasn't a Magic Wand
Our Lizzie got splashed across the media, articles appeared in the Newspapers, she danced with Yul Brynner on Pebble Mill at One, met Suzy Quatro and a whole host of celebrities as she became the first person in the UK to get her electric arm aged just four and a half.
It's a story about hope, about the love between mother and daughter, the struggle to be excepted only for Lizzie to love being different.
Enjoy the vlog is real, its down to earth and its all true 100%.
